We all know Ohtani’s been unreal this postseason...blasting bombs, striking out batters with his 98-mile-per-hour fast balls…
And tonight, Shohei Otani will dominate on the mound. This marks his first World Series pitching appearance with the Dodgers! (His shoulder was injured last year, but he still could hit!)
If you’re not a baseball fan, you need to understamd how rare it is for a player to be THIS GOOD at both pitching and hitting…you basically have to go back to Babe Ruth!
By the way...did you see how after winning the NLCS MVP, Shohei didn’t just bask in the glory.
Instead, he actually covered up his own name on the trophy with a plaque that read “Team Effort.” Like, come on…this guy is a superstar who still puts his teammates first.
And when you combine that with this moment tonight pitching in Game 4…you know you’re about to witness something big.
Go Shohei...Go Dodgers!!! First pitch is at 5pm!!!
