The Artificial Intelligence Takeover of our lives has begun, and dating apps are diving right in.
At first, it was simple stuff.
- In 2019, Bumble used it to blur our inappropriate photos
- In 2021, Tinder used it to indentify inappropriate language
- Recently, Hinge started using it to stop “ghosting”
But that’s just the beginning…
- Tinder recently announced an AI photo-selector tool that scans your photos and picks the best pics for your profile.
- Bumble is going to use AI to stop fake profiles.
But check this out…have you heard of the Rizz app? You can upload a screenshot of a DM conversation…and the Rizz app…uses AI to tell you how to respond. Single Tanya would have loved this.
But where is this going? Most see a future where you tell the dating app what you’re looking for…and it does the scrolling for you, swipe for you…and even DM them for you! In which case, it would probably be YOUR AI…DMing with someone else’s AI…and setting up a date on your behalf!
That future isn’t here yet…but it’s coming.
