Baltimore's own, Michael Phelps taught some Ravens Players how to swim!
Last month several Ravens players made a viral video stating 1-in-3 Ravens don't know how to swim. They invited Phelps to Ravens' training camp and the teams new pool to teach them.
Michael Phelps, who calls himself "the biggest Ravens fan on the planet," answered the call.
Phelps was able to take a tour of the Ravens' new pool and go to training camp practice. After training camp, he and most of the players jumped in the pool. Along with members on of the Michael Phelps Foundation, which provides families with the tools and support to be more confident and comfortable in the water and in life, Phelps taught Ravens' players to swim, gave them tricks and even raced them!
They were also joined by kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Baltimore, which brought kids to learn to swim too.
To thank Michael, the Ravens donated $100,000 to the Michael Phelps Foundation.
