Turns out knowing the Heimlich maneuver can not only save a human's life, but a panda's life too!
Earlier this week footage of a panda being saved by a zookeeper went viral after the panda started chocking on a piece of carrot and the zookeeper used the Heimlich maneuver to save the animal's life.
You can see the zookeeper in the video below at first try to pat the panda's back to lodge the piece of carrot out of its throat, but since it didn't work he has to life the 500-pound bear and give it a makeshift version of the Heimlich maneuver to help it out.
According to zoo officials, the panda is known for being incredibly mischievous and carefree, but something tells us they're going to keep a closer eye on the panda in case anything happens again!
