Get ready to never have to look for a great restaurant near your because Foursquare is currently working on a new update that will whisper recommendations into your AirPods!
The location app just released an experimental AI for the AirPods app on iOS that whispers place suggestions into your ear buds as you walk around. Essentially if you walk by a restaurant that has good reviews then your headphones will whisper the name of the restaurant when you pass by it.
You can also record your own audio clips for others to hear as they pass by, in case there’s a menu item you think they should try or an unwritten rule to consider and luckily the new update will only whisper a recommendation once a day or less.
You can opt out of the nearby user messages entirely, which might be helpful when the initial version will play everything other users create, but now you won't have to be afraid of trying something new in your own neighborhood!
