- 47% of respondents say they will abandon their diet in order to give in to temptation over the holidays.
- What’s more, for 41% of people, the holidays are the perfect excuse to put off being healthy.
- A third of people put off their healthy habits by mid-November.
- 59% of people find the winter holiday season the hardest time to stay healthy.
- 30% of folks say they plan to eat more during the holidays because their New Year’s resolution will be to be healthier.
- The average person expects to gain six pounds over the holiday season.
So, what foods are people least likely to resist over the holiday season. Well, they include:
- Cookies (53%)
- Pies or cakes (53%)
- Home-cooked holiday meals (53%)
