The holiday shopping season will be here before you know it. In fact,it’s already started in some stores like Walmart. And when it comes to holiday shopping, it seems most Americans aren’t too fond of spending a lot of money, and go out of their way to search for a good deal.
A new poll finds…
- 85% of holiday shoppers are always on the hunt for the best deal.
- 85% of people put a lot of research into an item before making a purchase.
- 92% routinely search various websites in order to find the best deal.
- The average American will spend more than two hours checking different websites before buying an item.
Saving money on holiday shopping is such a big deal to some that they’d be willing to endure some pretty awful things in order to get them. They include:
- Sitting in traffic (34%)
- Standing in line at the DMV (34%)
- Giving up alcohol for a year (32%)
- 5-hour surgery (32%)
- Giving up chocolate for a year (29%)
