Andrea Conrad is a first-generation business owner and the co-founder of Conrad's Crabs, one of Maryland’s most respected seafood brands, known for serving the highest quality seafood, exceptional service, and the best steamed crabs in the state. Together with her husband, Anthony Conrad, a commercial waterman, they have grown the business from a small, family-run seafood venture in 2003 into four thriving locations, two markets and two restaurants.
Married for 25 years and proud parents of two daughters, Hannah (19) and Ellie (16), Andrea and Tony have built Conrad's Crabs on a foundation of family, faith, and hard work, celebrating Maryland’s waterman heritage and the Chesapeake Bay’s rich seafood traditions.
In addition to her success as an entrepreneur, Andrea is the founder of Conrad’s Claws for Courage, a foundation created in honor of her daughter, Hannah. The foundation raises awareness for mental health and provides financial assistance to individuals seeking treatment at Honey Lake Clinic. Guided by the message of Faith. Hope. Healing. Andrea’s mission is to carry forward Hannah’s legacy by inspiring others to find strength and courage in asking for help.
Through her leadership, compassion, and community dedication, Andrea continues to build a legacy that blends purpose, perseverance, and heart — both in business and in life.
