Devin Morton is the Managing Director at Thread, a Baltimore-based community impact organization that leverages the power of relationships to support academically underperforming students through graduation and beyond. He is responsible for implementing the Thread Community Model using hub-based and city-wide engagement approaches to weave together young people, volunteers and collaborators in authentic relationships that lead to more just outcomes for young people. Devin leads seven community-based teams and manages relationships with community partners, including City Schools, colleges and universities, corporations, and local government.
Devin has served in formal and informal leadership roles within Thread for more than 20 years, initially as a member of the first cohort of enrolled students at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, then as a Thread Alumni, and over the past eight years through progressive roles on staff. Devin is a graduate of University of Maryland - Eastern Shore. He lives in Baltimore.
