Mike grew up in Bucks County, PA and graduated from Lafayette College, where he competed as a swimmer and received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Finance. He started his career at American Express Financial Advisors and became a principal at FMWZ, where he worked for 17 years. Mike became involved in Kids First Swim School when his two children, Kate and Tanner, learned to swim at a location in Plymouth Meeting, PA. This experience inspired Mike, and he opened his first franchise location in Cherry Hill, NJ in 2017! He has since expanded to 7 locations across 4 states (NJ, PA, MD, and VA), including the original location in which his two children took classes.
Mike and Kellie are a dedicated husband and wife team that have developed these locations into hubs for their communities: bringing people together for birthday parties and events, while encouraging all kids and families to be swim-safe through consistent swim lessons.
