Mark R. Heird is a seasoned business executive with over 40 years of experience leading consumer packaged goods organizations. He currently serves as President of DAP Global, Inc., a division of RPM International (NYSE: RPM), a global leader in specialty coatings, sealants, building materials, and related services. Under his leadership, DAP continues to strengthen its position as the leading manufacturer and supplier of caulks, sealants, foams, adhesives, and patch and repair products in the U.S.
Heird joined DAP in September 2021, bringing a clear vision and strategic focus to further the company’s legacy of first-to-market innovations. Before joining DAP, he spent 21 years at Rust-Oleum North America, another RPM division, where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales. During his tenure, he held multiple leadership roles, driving significant growth and fostering strong partnerships with top home improvement and mass retail giants, including The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, and Walmart.
Earlier in his career, Heird held sales leadership positions at The Clorox Company and Procter & Gamble. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park. Heird serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake since 2021 and on the Friends of Fort McHenry Advisory Board.
