When it comes to picking out a Christmas Tree each year, do you typically go with a real tree or artificial? I know in years past my family and I are VERY into our real trees, and this year is no different.
But for many who typically go with an artificial tree, they're changing it up this year and going to Christmas Tree farms and lots to get a real tree!
You may be wondering whyyyy more people are buying real than artificial this year, but I think it has to do with people being home more than ever, while working from home. Not only are people able to actually be there to water the tree regularly, but if you're going to be in the house a lot more... wouldn't you want the scent of a real pine tree?! Plus, with less people traveling out of town for the holidays this year, they don't have to worry about what to do with the tree while they're away!

Real Christmas tree sellers were seeing a downward trend of people buying their trees over the last several years, but this year the purchases of real trees have already hone up AND people are buying them earlier than ever! I mean, it makes sense, we're all looking for something to bring a little joy into our homes.
If you're still trying to decide if you want to go with a real tree or an artificial tree this year, here are some pros for each option.
The benefits of artificial trees include: the cost (you only have to buy it once vs every year!), the lights are already on it and stay on it over the years, no fire danger, no messy needles, and NO maintenance.
The benefits of a real Christmas tree: the scent, of course, the tradition of going and picking one out every year, the trees emit fresh oxygen, AND they can be recycled!
