Some Of The Most Beloved Celebs Are Calling For People To Wear Their Masks

IRAQ-HEALTH-VIRUS

Let me put it bluntly. If you aren't wearing your mask when you go out in public, you're letting down Tom Hanks, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon AND Patrick Dempsey. As well as just about everyone else when you really think about it.

And who wants to let those celebs down? When it's as simple as wearing a mask in public?

Those four celebs, among others, have recently taken to social media to talk about the importance of wearing a mask while out in public in order to keep fighting the coronavirus pandemic - which has recently seen another big spike in the United States.

While doing press for his upcoming film Greyhound on Apple TV+, Tom said bluntly: "There’s really only three things we can do in order to get to tomorrow: Wear a mask, social distance, wash our hands."

But Tom, who tested positive for coronavirus back in March while in Australia with his wife Rita Wilson who also texted positive, didn't stop there. He went on to explain how he *really* felt about people who did not want to do their part.

"Those things are so simple, so easy, if anybody cannot find it in themselves to practice those three very basic things – I just think shame on you... Don’t be a p----, get on with it, do your part. It’s very basic. If you’re driving a car, you don’t go too fast, you use your turn signal and you avoid hitting pedestrians. My Lord, it’s common sense."

So again I say, if you're not wearing a mask in public, not washing your hands, and not even trying to social distance, then you're really letting Tom Hanks down.

Other celebs who have used their platforms to talk about the importance of wearing masks.

Patrick Dempsey, formerly from Grey's Anatomy, used his famous line from the show to remind people of the importance of wearing a mask - with the photo below captioned "it's a beautiful day to save lives."

Reese Witherspoon used Instagram to remind people that wearing a mask is NOT a political statement but rather a statement that you care about others.

And Jennifer Aniston acknowledged that wearing a mask can feel a little uncomfortable or inconvenient, but that it's the LEAST we can do to help each other out.

So, are you trying to let these celebs down?! Or can we all just agree to wear our masks in public?
