Ellen Degeneres Got The Viral Hugging Toddlers On Her Show

If you happened to see the video (that basically everyone saw) of the two toddlers in New York City running toward each other to hug, then you're going to want to see those same two toddlers reunite on none other than Ellen.

It's safe to say that these two little boys, without ever meaning to, brought joy to people all over the world. Just by running up and hugging! Imagine what it would be like if we all just like, hugged more?

Anyway, the two little kids - Finnegan and Maxwell - and their parents came out to Los Angeles to meet Ellen Degeneres and be on Ellen and everything that ensued was SO cute.

The background story of how these two little boys, who are both only 2 years old, met and became best friends is my favorite thing:

Finnegan's dad Daniel McKenna told Ellen: "We were sitting at a communal table at our favorite restaurant a year ago, and then Maxwell came in with his family, and they asked to sit at the other end... We started talking, we ended up getting their number, and it's sort of, the rest is history."

Then, Maxwell's dad, Michael Cisneros shared, "they're definitely huggers. And they hold hands while walking all the time and they love to dance together and they have this secret language amongst themselves. They're like little dolphins, they squeal and chat."

I totally get this! My twins definitely have a secret language where they can communicate with each other even if Michael and I have no idea what they want or are doing. Sometimes when we walk into their nursery to get them up, they're kind of communicating through their cribs!

Ellen believes the video went viral because it's "what the world needs right now" and Maxwell's dad Alex Hanson, agreed: "Out of any video to be out there, it just had such a great message. And we love that it's been shared so many times and making people feel so good."

Ugh. Love this video and love this message!!
