FDA Recalls OTC Acne Treatment Due To Benzene Levels

The FDA has requested the removal of other acne treatments from store shelves after tests revealed slightly elevated levels of benzene, a chemical linked to cancer. This comes after La Roche-Posay's Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment was recalled earlier this week.

Despite the recall, the FDA emphasizes that the risk of developing cancer from these products is very low, even with daily use over many years.
