Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave thanks to a Navy veteran for Thanksgiving this year. During a special Thanksgiving screening of “Red Notice,” Dwayne gave Oscar Rodriguez– who was in the audience – a shoutout for his acts of kindness.
Oscar is not only a leader in his church community, he’s also dedicated to his work as a personal trainer and his work meal prepping for female survivors of domestic abuse – all as he cares for his own mom at home. To show his gratitude, Johnson surprised Rodriguez with a special gift to make his work a little easier – his own personal truck.
Rodriguez was shocked to realize The Rock’s custom Ford F-150 Raptor pickup was now his. “I always say it’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice,” Johnson writes on Instagram. “Oscar exemplifies being nice and kind to his core. A good, caring, grateful human being.”
