American Lindsey Vonn Wins Bronze In Women's Downhill

American skiing legend Lindsey Vonn is ending her Olympic career with a medal. Vonn won the bronze medal in the Women's Downhill event at her final Olympic Games in PyeongChang. Her last event is tomorrow’s Women’s Combined, which you can catch at 9pm ET on NBC.

Being 33-years-old gives her the distinction of being the oldest woman to claim an Olympic Alpine medal.

“New York Times” Anti-Yoga Pants Piece Sparks Backlash

SO WRONG.

The New York Times recently ran apiece that argued yoga pants are “bad for women”. The piece suggests yoga pants are constricting, unforgiving and too sexy, noting they “threaten to show every dimple and roll in every woman over 30."

Hotel Offering Discount To Families Who Put Away Phones

Apple Holds Press Event To Introduce New iPhone

Starting Friday, Wyndham hotels will launch the “Reconnected” program in select Grand hotels. Guests will get a five percent discount if they lock away their phones during their visit. Those who book the program will get a lock box for their phones which will be set with a timer that won’t open until their visit is over.

Uber Express Pool offers the cheapest fares yet in exchange for a little walking

rRders who select Express Pool will be asked to wait a minute or two longer than usual to be matched with a driver. The idea is that during this additional time, Uber’s algorithm is blasting through hundreds of different drivers, routes, pickup and dropoff locations, and additional riders looking for the optimal match. After the match, riders will be directed to walk a few extra blocks to their pickup location, where (if Uber’s algorithm worked the way its supposed to) they’ll hopefully meet one or two additional riders who’ve also been matched with the same driver.
