This Thursday, September 11th, marks 24 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Across the country, Americans will take part in a National Day of Service and Remembrance to honor those lost.
The nonprofit organization Carry The Load has partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Cemetery Administration to host volunteer events at national cemeteries nationwide. Those who volunteer will help clean headstones and beautify the cemetery grounds.
