It feel like it was forever ago that we first learned about the Borderlands movie and now we FINALLY have the film's first trailer and it actually looks pretty good!
The trailer, which you can see below, not only gives us a glimpse at the world of Borderlands (or at least it's theatrical version) and how our main characters, led by Cate Blanchett's Lillith, will coexist while trying to find the ultimate treasure.
We also know that Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ariana Greenblatt (from the Ahsoka series and the Barbie movie) will be starring in the film as well and that Jack Black will be voicing their robot companion Claptrap who is the unofficial mascot of the Borderlands games.
As of right now the film is scheduled to come out on August 9th and it looks the perfect popcorn movie to watch with your friends and imagine who would be each character in your friend group!
