We're all for getting a large soda and popcorn when going to the movie theater because it essentially is the epitome of "girl dinner," but what do you do when you have to go to the bathroom two hours into a three-hour-long movie?
That's why theater chains in the UK and US are starting to offer "bathroom break" intermissions during longer movies!
Vue cinemas in the UK went viral last weekend after people posted about how the theater chain told customers to expect showings of Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon to be 15-20 minutes longer as they had planned a "bathroom intermission" halfway during the film.
Theatergoers obviously praised the decision because it allowed everyone to either go to the bathroom or get a refill on popcorn as the movie has 3 hour and 26-minute runtime.
Movies like Oppenheimer, Avenger: Endgame, and Avatar: The Way Of Water have also been notorious for their long runtimes so if this becomes an option like 3-D people would probably opt to go to these "intermission screenings."
