LG Is Introducing Battery-Operated Air Purifier Masks

Get ready to start wearing more technologically-advanced masks in the near future if the pandemic continues because LG has just introduced its wearable air purifier mask at CES this week!

LG Electronics introduced their PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier at the Consumer Electronics Show this week and it apparently comes with two H13 HEPA filters similar to the filters used in the company's air purifier products.

The mask, which you can see photos of below, snugly fits on a person's face around the nose and chin and can be worn for hours on end and even has a battery that can last up to eight hours in low mode and two hours on high, which we're not exactly sure what that means for the mask.

The company says in its press release the "LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier resolves the dilemma of homemade masks being of inconsistent quality and disposal masks being in short supply," but LG didn't make any claims about the mask slowing down the spread of coronavirus compared to a normal mask.

However, if you are having breathing problems currently with your mask, then this might be a great alternative to use that increases your airflow when it releases sometime this year.
