Edward Harris, President and CEO of Visit Williamsburg

Edward Harris joined Visit Williamsburg as President & CEO in June of 2024. He served in tourism leadership positions over the past 10 years in Pennsylvania. He was President & CEO of Discover Lancaster (Pennsylvania) from 2020-2024, and prior to Lancaster, he was Chief Marketing Officer at the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board from 2014-2020. Before entering the tourism management industry, Harris served in brand marketing roles over a 15-year period at a collection of global companies including eBay, Under Armour, Timberland, and Converse. Harris was named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s prestigious “40 under 40” class in 2017. He holds an MBA in Management from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He currently resides in Kingsmill with his family. His wife Kristin is a graduate of William & Mary (class of 2001), his son Will is 14 years old and attends Walsingham Academy, and his daughter Ruby (8) is homeschooled.
