Bio: Brooklyn Lundy Brooklyn Lundy is originally from Satsuma, Alabama, but now resides in Auburn, Alabama. She graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and graphic design.
However, Brooklyn’s college career did not start at Auburn, it started in Tuscaloosa at the University of Alabama. She started out as a Nursing major, but quickly realized this was not the path for her. After changing her degree to Dance, the art form she had studied her whole life, Lundy decided to take a hiatus from school to gain experience and earn money. She participated in the Disney College Program before being promoted to seasonal status where she performed as characters in castle shows and parades. However, the COVID pandemic brought her journey at Disney to an end, and she was faced with the hard reality of choosing dance or stability.
Ultimately, Lundy decided she still wanted to be involved in the tourism industry, so she went back to school except this time at Auburn University, gained experience as a public relations specialist for small businesses around the Auburn/Opelika area, and graduated summa cum laude.
After graduation, Lundy became the youngest Public Relations Manager to work for the Alabama Tourism Department at just 22-years-old. She still uses her young age, upbringing, and eagerness to her advantage by networking with the new generation entering the work force and connecting to the new demographics traveling to Alabama.
Lundy represents Alabama all over the world when she shares Alabama’s unique stories to domestic and international travel writers and media outlets. She also works closely with her CVB partners to ensure they are fully represented, and the visitors and residents of Alabama are knowledgeable of the events, attractions, and anniversaries occurring throughout the state of Alabama.
Lundy currently serves on the board of Main Street Alabama as the ATD representative, is a member of the Alabama Travel Council’s Young ProfessionALs and will receive her Travel Marketing Professional designation (TMP) in 2025.
