Drake appears to warn the world about what to expect from the next chapter of his life.
On Monday, March 10, The Boy took to Instagram and posted several cryptic images. Drake included photos of himself along with one alongside his friend Baka Not Nice. He even threw in a clip from a viral video of him gambling inside an empty club he rented out while Sabrina Carpenter's "Expresso" blared through the speakers. In addition, he posted a scene from the 2017 film Phantom Thread, an image of two Zofran pills, and an OVO Sound sweatshirt. While the images might not compute with his haters, Drake's caption has everyone talking.
"U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore," he wrote. "I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you’ve been sending me. 😮💨"
It sounded like Drake may have alluded to his upcoming solo album. The Canadian rapper teased his forthcoming project during his "Anita Max Win Tour" in Australia last month. Drake told the crowd about the album while promoting his collaborative effort with PARTYNEXTDOOR, $OME $EXY $ONGS 4 U.
"Eventually when the time is right, Drizzy Drake alone by himself is gonna have to have a one-on-one talk to y’all," he said at the time.
As of this report, there's no word on when Drizzy will release his solo album. However, now that his latest cryptic post has gone viral, it's only a matter of time before we learn more about his plans.
