Katy Perry is sharing how her daughter inspired some of her new music, including her next single "Lifetimes."

The "Woman's World" singer shared that her 3-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, whom she shares with fiancé Orlando Bloom, was the inspiration behind "Lifetimes," the second single from her upcoming album 143 that drops Friday, August 9, per People. The album will come out later this year.

"It is funny how sometimes you're looking for your soulmate in a partner. It could be a dog, you mom, your best friend, your cat... but for me it came in the form of Daisy," she told The Sun during a recent album listening event, adding that she "wrote 'Lifetimes' about her."

Even the song's title comes from a sweet tradition she has with her little one.

"Every night, before we go to sleep, I say, 'I love you,' and then I ask, 'Will you find me in every lifetime?' and she says, 'Yes,'" Perry said, adding of her daughter, "The love I was missing, every mountain I climbed looking for this view, all this love, it came to me when she entered my life."

Perry welcomed her first child with the Pirates of the Caribbean star in August 2020. Bloom also shares 13-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

"Lifetimes" drops August 9 while 143 comes out September 20.
