Mascot Posts Suggestive Photo, Puts Team in a Pickle

Meet Dillon, the mascot for the minor league Portland Pickles, and he well...put his team in a bit of a pickle.

Dillon decided to takeover the team's Twitter account for the day and his first post was rather kosher, if you will.

"MASCOT TWITTER TAKEOVER! Our mascot, Dillon, will be taking over our Twitter account NOW! Our next tweet will be him. Feel free to ask any questions or just show your support!"

We're questioning why he's holding a chicken in the photo, but otherwise we're off to a fine start.

And then thing went rogue. His follow up tweet was a selfie of what was intended to be a thumbs up, but some unfortunate cropping makes the photo seem suggestive 👀 Dillon cropped his hand out out of the photo, leaving just his thumb showing right around the center of his lap and we'll stop there. Scroll down to judge for yourself.

The Pickles quickly responded by saying "We have ended our mascot takeover. It’s come to our attention that this photo can be misinterpreted as a disturbing image. Dillon would like to go on record and say that he was trying to give his fans a thumbs up."

They then followed that tweet up by saying this is a big dill to them. Gotta love a pun.

But it turns out poor Dillon was FRAMED! A video response from the pickle in a pickle claims he was framed and even brought light to details we missed in the selfie that started all of this. @manscaped, @steak_umm, @Skittles, @BushsBeans, @danielrpopper, @Scott_Wiener, @oscarmayer, @CornNuts, @justindickmeyer & @EricStangel are all tagged in the selfie.

Do with this information what you will.
