"Squid Game" Cast Attempts Dalgona Challenge In Real Life

It's no secret that Squid Game has taken over Netflix...and basically the rest of the world.

Don't worry, we won't spoil anything major! But if you're not familiar with the show, it's a thrilling series that follows people who are financially down on their luck as they compete in a series of children's games to win millions of dollars. The big catch? Fail the game and you are permanently eliminated.

Dalgona (aka honeycomb), a popular Korean treat made of sugar and baking soda, is the star of one of the show's games and has since become a viral trend that people everywhere are attempting. To play, all you have to do is successfully cut out the shape stamped in the middle of the treat without breaking it.

Netflix put the show's cast members up to the challenge and while the concept sounds simple, it doesn't seem to be easy. Jung Ho-yeon (Kang Sae-byeok), Wi Ha-joon (policeman Hwang Jun-ho), Anupam Tripathi (Ali), Heo Sung-tae (Deok-su) and Kim Joo-ryoung (Han Mi-nyeo) all gave the game a real-life attempt and let's just say it's a good thing that they aren't competing within the game on the show.

In addition to attempting the Dalgona challenge, they also shared who their favorite characters are + more!

Squid Game is quickly on pace to become Netflix's most watched show ever.
