Netflix's social media game show The Circle is returning for season 2 on April 14! The show took the internet by storm last year and has been leaving viewers waiting for season 2, and it's right around the corner!
If you aren't familiar with the show, here's the rundown: people are isolated (heh, sound familiar?) in these chic apartments with no connection to world outside of their own walls except for this app called The Circle. On The Circle, they can create a profile and can opt to play as themselves or attempt to catfish their fellow contestants by playing as a fake persona. The goal is to become the most liked player by your peers without ever meeting them face-to-face. You can chat with fellow contestants in The Circle, but no video chat. Week after week, players are eliminated (or "blocked") until one person is voted to take home a cash prize of $100,000.
People say the show is like Big Brother meets Catfish but regardless it's one of those silly shows that will have you HOOKED. Do yourself a favor by watching season 1 and check out the season 2 trailer below!
