Fans have anxiously been awaiting season 2 of Netflix's original series Russian Doll and while not much is known about it...what we do know is that Annie Murphy is joining the cast!
For those unfamiliar with the show, Russian Doll follows Natasha Lyonne's character Nadia who is stuck re-living the same day over and over again due to dramatically dying each day (very "Groundhog Day"-esque). The show was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series at the 2019 Emmy Awards and is co-produced by Amy Pohler.
Murphy shot up to stardom for her role as Alexis Rose on Schitt's Creek (and won an Emmy for her work on the show!) and this summer will star in the AMC sitcom Kevin Can F**k Himself.
