The Orioles have been faced with a postseason drought since 2016...and one analytics and statistics site predicts that drought will continue.
Fangraphs.com released their projected postseason odds for the 2021 season and foresee that the O's have a 0% chance of making it to the playoffs. The site is calling that the New York Yankees are heavily favored to take home the AL East as well as the Minnesota Twins, Houston Astros, New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers winning their respective divisions.
So what does Baltimore have to say about this? The team replied to the MLB's Twitter post with the predictions with a meme from The Office asking that numbers be crunched again 😂
The Orioles are the only team with the predicted 0.0% chance of a playoff berth.
