Jeopardy! Announces First Guest Host Following Alex Trebek's Death

"Jeopardy!" & IBM Man V. Machine Press Conference

The show must go on.

Jeopardy!'s beloved host Alex Trebek passed away earlier this month and fans of the show couldn't help but wonder what would happen of the long-running trivia game show. Well, the show's executives have spoken up and taping will resume.

So who will be the host?!

There has been no news of a permanent host...but in the meantime there will be guest hosts and the first one is a very familiar face to the show. Ken Jennings will be the first to step in to ask the questions in front of Jeopardy!'s famous blue wall of questions and filming will resume on Nov. 30. Jennings won a record 74-straight games back in 2004 and was deemed the "greatest of all time" during a special of the same name that aired back in January. His episodes will begin airing on Jan. 11.

Other guest hosts are still TBA.

The remaining episodes that Alex Trebek hosted before his passing will continue to air through Dec. 25.
