Ravens Will Begin Season Without Fans in Stands at M&T Bank Stadium

Divisional Round - Tennessee Titans v Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that there will not be fans in the stands of M&T Bank Stadium "for at least the initial part of the 2020 season."

The Ravens stated that "Ultimately, the health and safety of our entire community is at the forefront of every decision we make. We will always protect the well-being of our fans, players, coaches and staff," in their official statement.

Over the past few weeks, Baltimore's Mayor Bernard "Jack" Young sent a proposal to Gov. Hogan stating that M&T Bank Stadium would safely be able to welcome a maximum of 7,500 fans to home games (capacity of the venue is 71,008).

They do have hope however that fans will be welcomed back later this season. They claim that they will remain in contact with officials to "create appropriate measures" that could potentially allow people back into the stadium to root for the Ravens.
