Watch Dua Lipa Talk To Strangers Using Her Song Lyrics In 'Ellen' Skit

Dua Lipa's lyrics might be suitable for a car ride sing-a-long, but they don't exactly work in day-to-day conversation.

Lipa recently put her songwriting up to the test in a new installment of "Speak the Lyrics," which aired on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday (January 6), where she dressed in disguise and joined show writer Lauren Pomerantz to test out the patience of unexpected shoppers. During their visit to the World Market in Burbank, California, the pair spoke to strangers using the pop star's lyrics and the results were too funny. It all kicked off with Lipa's most recent single, "Don't Start Now," which saw some customers willing to go with the flow.

Another noteworthy moment fell on Pomerantz, who recited lyrics from "One Kiss," Lipa's mega-collab with Calvin Harris. "Something in you, lit up heaven in me. The feeling won’t let me sleep. One Kiss is all it takes," she told an unsuspecting man, who remained slightly weary but intrigued by her proposal. Click here to see how the prank worked for other customers.
