Mrs. Rogers, Mister Rogers' widow, visited newborn babies on Cardigan Day and World Kindness Day (which just happen to be on the SAME EXACT DAY HOW PRECIOUS IS THAT?!), on November 13th at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh!
According to WJLA, Joanne Byrd Rogers was Fred Rogers' college sweetheart.
The pictures which we've embedded below, were shared to the hospital's Facebook page and almost immediately went viral over the sweetness in all of it - Mrs. Rogers' face when she walked in, and all of the newborns! The cardigans for the babies were crocheted by a nurse at the hospital, Caitlin Pechin.
