Parks and Recreation may have ended a few years ago, but fans are just as in love with Leslie Knope and the Pawnee gang today as they were when the hilarious sitcom first aired. Fans will undoubtedly be excited to learn that a Parks and Rec themed pop-up bar is coming and, yes, there will be Snake Juice.
Treat Yo Self: A Parks and Rec Pop-Up! will arrive later this month at the Replay Lincoln Park bar in Chicago. The pop-up bar will feature a ton of your favorite things from the show, including waffle-topped cocktails, Li'l Sebastian's stable and the pit from the first season. As fans of the show know, food-related jokes were made constantly on the show and patrons of the pop-up will get to enjoy some of those Pawnee-selections.
According to People, the pop-up bar will serve food and drink items from popular Pawnee establishments, including JJ's Diner, Paunch Burger and Zizi's Cafe. One cocktail you need to try is the "Give Me All the Bacon," which is, of course, a reference to one of Ron Swanson's most famous lines in the show. The cocktail includes bourbon and bacon (obviously) and it sounds like it's right up Ron's alley.
Adventurous fans will also get to sample Tom Haverford's famous Snake Juice. You know, the drink he described as "basically rat poison." Though Snake Juice may be dangerous, it gave fans one of the most memorable episodes of the show, well, ever.
There will also be Parks and Rec-themed trivia, so, maybe don't go too hard on the Snake Juice before competing. We all know how seriously Leslie Knope would take a trivia competition. The pop-up will be open from August 30 to October 20. Will you be stopping by?
