This Baltimore Book 'Store' Has Thousands Of Books That Are All Free

posted by AT -

After closing due to a fire in March of 2016, The Book Thing reopened in October of 2017 and is now doing better than ever.

This place is actually a warehouse that was converted into a massive book "store." Well, it's technically not even a store because you don't ever spend a cent on the books.

That's right. This place runs entirely on donations and they arrive in the thousands each and every week.

I’ve missed this place. I definitely wiped out the LGBTQ section. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ’πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ“šπŸ’– #queerbooks #gayshit #booksofinstagram #bookstack

Open every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm, you can arrive early and read or bring a big box to replenish your bookshelf at home!

If you're interested in donating books, you can do so 24/7 at the book drop located outside of the warehouse.
