- House/pet sit for a friend.Have a friend that is traveling to see their fam? Offer to house or pet sit for them. The change of scenery would do you wonders, especially if they have more streaming accounts than you connected on their smart TV. And if they’ve got a furry friend for you to hang out with, even better. According to The National Institute on Aging, “animals can be a source of comfort and may also lower stress and blood pressure.”
- Get connected.Here’s an idea to spice up your holiday Zoom calls with friends. Digital secret Santa. Use an app to assign names and have everyone set up gift registries online for their mystery gifter to choose from. Most sites give the option to have things shipped directly to their house so things are contact-free and then you’ve just got to pick a day where you all unwrap together on Zoom. Or if that’s too complicated, just get your friends on a call and blast Mariah Carey.You know what song.Just make sure you’re reaching out to loved ones this holiday season and staying connected!
