We may be handy with a phone or computer, but according to a new survey, a number of millennials don’t know how to swing a hammer.
In fact, 11% of us hired a handyman just to hang a picture.And just in case that same 11% needs to also hire a mathematician to do basic equations for them, that’s equal to about one out of ten millennials.
But the tradesman payouts don’t stop there. According to the survey, millennials also admit to hiring someone to change a lampshade or put up shelves.Yes, we’re apparently putting the “why” in DIY.
According to experts, it appears the “DIY high tide has retreated.” So let’s all pour one out for HGTV when we get home.Actually, scratch that, because that’s likely to end with some of you hiring a guy to come clean your floor.
