2 Rescued After Falling Into Chocolate Tank at M&M Factory

This story isn't candy coated, CNN has reported that 2 individuals were rescued at the Mars M&M factory in Pennsylvania after falling into a tank filled with chocolate on Thursday, June 9.

Assistant Supervisor Nick Schoenberger of Lancaster County 911 Dispatch shared with CNN that both people were transported to the hospital following the rescue.

"One patient was transported by ground and one person was transported by helicopter," Schoenberger said.

Brad Wolfe, communications supervisor for Lancaster County 911 dispatch, told the news outlet that rescue teams had to cut a hole into the side of the tank to rescue the individuals.

The two big questions of 1) how did they fall into the tank and 2) what are the extent of their injuries are unknown.
