Brian Laundrie's Full Autopsy Has Been Released

We now have a better sense of the environment surrounding Brian Laundrie's suicide thanks to the release of a 47-page autopsy report acquired by PEOPLE Magazine.

Back in October Laundrie's remains were discovered in the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park and until now all we knew was that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

It was noted that "skeletal remains and personal effects were in plain sight and scattered upon the dirt," according to the report. The human bones showed animal gnaw marks and were located near "a pair of green shorts with a green belt, two slip-on shoes, a backpack with unknown contents, a white metal ring, and an unknown type of handgun" later described as a snub-nose revolver.

Also found in the area were a hat with the logo "MOAB Coffee Roasters," and a "handwritten half note" (of which we don't know the content), a dry bag that housed a journal and a wooden box containing photographs and a small notebook.

The FBI shared last month that the notebook contained Laundrie's confession of murdering fiance Gabby Petito.

No drugs or alcohol were in Laundrie's system at the time of death.
