Baltimore's Mayor Scott makes Bet w/ Indianapolis' Mayor Over Game Tonight

Game on!

The Baltimore Ravens take on the Indianapolis Colts tonights on Monday Night Football and the mayors of cities are having a friendly wager to support their home team.

Baltimore's Mayor Brandon Scott told WISH-TV that he is so confident in the 3-1 purple and black that if they lose against the 1-3 Colts, he will wear a "Mayflower jersey to eat a crab cake and talk about how great they are. But that is not going to happen.”

Why is he saying Mayflowers instead of Colts? Because when the Baltimore Colts infamously moved out west overnight in 1984, they did so in Mayflower moving trucks.

So if the Ravens win? Mayor Scott wants to see Indy's Mayor Joe Hogsett "in a Ravens jersey, eating whatever the great food of Indianapolis is and admitting that that team’s name is the Indianapolis Mayflowers."

Kickoff begins at 8:15PM.
